Wanna Know More about Angie?

My name is Angie Guy. "D" is my middle initial and I ran with that because Angie D rolls off the tongue a little easier than Angie G photography.

In 2007 I started my photography business after a cousin told me she liked my photographs of her wedding more than those of her professional photographer. I never knew what I wanted to do with my life and then BOOM, I realized the thing I was doing just for fun could actually be a career!

After years of photography experiences ranging from preschool, pets, weddings, funerals, bar mitzvah's, family portraits...I found my love of working with women after a friend asked me to take her boudoir photos. She was so excited to see her images and I fell head over heels for helping women feel more empowered and beautiful in their own skin.

With excitement and wanderlust my family traveled the country in a 5th wheel for 2 years. We made it to 24 states, had an extended pitstop in Kentucky for two years, and created amazing memories as we met new friends, had new adventures and saw so many wonderful parts of our country.

I grew up in Washington State. Lived there my whole life until we set out in the RV. Truth be told I never thought I would live anywhere else. This Pacific Northwest girl was a bit out of her comfort zone...but that's how we grow, right?

We just recently moved back to Western WA and my heart is so happy.

My husband Steve and I have been together since 1996 when I was 19. In 2011 we had our son Max and decided that our one awesome kiddo completed our family.

I am a total sarcastic dork. If you can't handle an inappropriately timed "that's what she said" joke or cheesy pun I'm probably not the photographer for you.

During your session I'll probably trip over something, I'll probably dance and laugh at my own dumb jokes. Most importantly I'll do my best to make you feel 100% comfortable during your session.

Boudoir photography is personal and you need to know that you can trust your photographer. Heck, it's a totally vulnerable experience to take your clothes off in front of someone else. We've all had times where being in front of the camera is stressful, even with all of our clothes on.

If you choose me as your photographer, know that I will guide you through the whole process. You can't send me too many messages or ask too many questions. I will make sure that you feel confident and that you will fall in love with your images (and maybe even a little bit more in love with yourself.)

I have had 4 different boudoir sessions myself and I must say they are rather addicting. Confession time...I am currently planning my next session!
